Recognition of Gatka

The Government of Punjab had enlisted the Gatka game in its State Sports Policy in 2015 for permitting

gradation of Gatka players’ certificates. With this gradation facility, now Gatka players can also avail 3 % reserve quota fixed for sportspersons during admissions in academic/professional colleges/universities and getting government jobs.
